2402 resin is a 100% fat-soluble phenolic resin. As a rubber vulcanizing agent for butyl rubber, natural rubber, styrene butadiene rubber (SBR), and silicone, it is particularly suitable for vulcanizing butyl rubber.

Production of neoprene adhesive, the resin is compatible with neoprene, the preparation of neoprene adhesive can increase the adhesive heat temperature, increase adhesion. Especially used for adhesives such as neoprene graft adhesives, its performance can be comparable to imported resins of the same kind.
In the coating industry, it can be used for the production of enamel paints for exterior use, floor paints, marine paints, antirust paints, raw materials for water-based inks and thin layer rust preventive oils, and nitrocellulose paints made from dry heat oils in coatings. Has good gloss, with water resistance, weather resistance, UV rotation resistance, chemical resistance and electrical insulation characteristics. In the production of polyester insulating tape and tubing anti-corrosion rubber, tape and other aspects of the vulcanizing agent, enhancers, tackifiers used to improve product performance and longevity. The product also has broad prospects for development in other industrial products.
2402 resin esters are particularly effective in blending with terpene resins.
